The College of Visual Arts, Theatre & Dance is welcoming Geoffrey Batchen, Professor of the History of Photography and Contemporary Art in the Graduate Center at the City University of New York on Thursday, 24 January. The author of Burning with Desire (1997) and Each Wild Idea: Writing, Photography, History (2002), Dr. Batchen will present his lecture, “Snapshots: Art History and the Ethnographic Turn” at 7 p.m. in room 249 of the Fine Arts Building
